Welcome to Even Mind
My name is Audra McKellar and I'm a counsellor and life coach, providing both short and long-term therapy to individual adults and couples. I am based in Congleton and serve the surrounding areas of Cheshire, as well as online.
Helping You Build Resilience with Compassionate Support
A Focus on Personal Growth and Mental Wellbeing

My role as a counsellor is to give you a safe, confidential space — somewhere you can talk to someone who won't judge you, and who can help you make sense of things and understand yourself better. You're free to express your thoughts and feelings openly, in complete confidence.
Counselling can help you resolve complicated feelings, or find ways to live with them when they can't simply be resolved. It can also help you recognise unhelpful patterns in how you think or behave, and offer strategies to change them.

Fresh perspectives, new understandings
Empowering you to make changes
I work as an integrative counsellor, which means I draw on a range of different techniques, tailored to your particular circumstances, thoughts and behaviours — rather than fitting you into one fixed approach.
I also take a holistic view, since mind and body are closely connected. As part of our work together, I'll often look at how small lifestyle changes might support your mental health too.
About Me
As a fully qualified counsellor, life coach, clinical hypnotherapist, accredited NLP Master and EFT practitioner, with experience working in the corporate world, I'm well placed to support you.
Together we'll navigate a process that's rewarding, challenging and sometimes genuinely life-changing — with a few twists and turns along the way, and room for some lightness too.
I'm a member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society and work within their code of ethics.

My Location
I work from private offices located conveniently in the centre of Congleton CW12 and see clients from all over Cheshire including Alderley Edge, Bramhall, Nantwich, Sandbach and Alsager.
In addition to providing face-to-face therapy, I also offer online sessions for clients via a secure online platform. Online sessions have proved immensely popular and are very effective and convenient.

Audra is great therapist, with the amazing skill of making therapy an enjoyable process. Even through the tears and difficult issues, I still enjoyed my sessions with Audra as the balance of her warmth and humour made even the toughest times the best they could be. Her knowledge and experience span many different disciplines and every tool she suggested for me to try outside the therapy was really useful and simple to follow. I would highly recommend, I've never met anyone like Audra and I'm so glad I did.

Audra has helped me through many situations with such kindness and thought. I feel extremely comfortable throughout my sessions and leave feeling like a weight has lifted. Although you may have some challenging sessions, you feel supported and acknowledged, leaving with tools to combat those situations. I would recommend Audra to anybody and I'm extremely grateful that she is able to help me navigate life.

During my sessions with Audra, I found her to be attentive and understanding. She is always professional and very knowledgeable on a diverse range of topics. I found the sessions were extremely helpful to me with my issues and were flexible to allow me to further scrutinise anything I felt required it. Audra was caring and empathetic yet also stretched me in the counselling sessions to challenge my own behaviours and rationale. I would highly recommend Audra to anyone for counselling or life coaching.
